What is Little Town Builders：リトルタウンビルダーズとは
Little Town Builders is a Japanese board game in the Worker Placement genre.
リトルタウンビルダーズはワーカープレイスメント呼ばれるジャンルの、日本のボードゲームです。
In this game, you place workers (cute cats that do your work for you) in squares on the board and choose whether to build or get resources and whoever has the most victory points in the end wins.
ボードのマスにワーカー（仕事をしてくれるかわいい猫たち）を配置して、建築するか資源を得るかを選択していき、最終的にもっとも勝利点が高い人が勝ちになるゲームです。

In this game, the player chooses each turn “how to make the worker work”.You can act as follows.
このゲームはプレイヤーが「ワーカーをどのように働かせるか」を毎ターン選択します。
- 食料 or 資源を得る
- 建築をする

加えて、目標を達成すると勝利点を獲得できます。

経済学には機会費用という考え方があります。これはある選択によって他の選択を放棄することです。
If you played the game after deciding whether to study or play the game, you have abandoned your choice to study and played the game. It does not mean that you are wrong for having played the game, but the result is that you have chosen one of the many options.
勉強とゲームのどちらをしようか迷った結果ゲームをした場合、勉強する選択を放棄してゲームをしたことになります。ゲームをしたから悪いわけではなく、数ある選択の中からある一つを選んだという結果が残ることになります。

私達が生きていくことは、一日２４時間しかないそれぞれにあたえられた機会（資源）の中から最適なものを選ぶことに他なりません。このゲームはワーカーをどう働かせれば最適なものを選べるかを考えるもので、私達が日々行っている経済活動と根っこは一緒なのです。
In this game, you have two main choices: labor or construction.
For example, if you want to obtain the resource of trees on the map, you must place your worker in the area marked by a tree.
このゲームでは大きく労働と建築のどちらかを選択していきます。例えばマップの中で木の資源を得ようとした場合、木の絵が書かれた範囲にワーカーコマを置くことになります。
Make good use of the finite resources on the map: fish, wheat, wood, and stone. Workers must also be paid for food at the end of the round. This is like a salary. If you fail to pay your workers, your victory points will be recorded in the negative, like a debt.
マップ上にある魚・麦・木・石の４つからなる有限の資源を有効に活用しましょう。また、ワーカーはラウンド終了時に食料を支払わなければなりません。給料のようなものです。もし給料が払えない場合は借金のように勝利点がマイナスで計上されます。
Resources are limited, so we must choose what to spend where.
ありとあらゆるものを選択する。資源には限りがあるから、どこに何を使うかを選択しなければなりません。
You can also exchange money or any resources you have. This is the same as a market. The only difference from reality is that the value of goods cannot be set freely and does not fluctuate according to supply and demand.
持っているお金や資源を交換する事もできます。これは市場と同じです。ただ現実と違うのは、モノの価値を自由に設定できないという部分で、需要と供給によって変動することはありません。
It is said that if we do not free reality in the same way, we will end up exchanging at the same rate no matter what quality we produce, and the economy will deteriorate and money will not circulate because there is a large amount of produce in the world that remains of poor quality. However, I personally believe that there will always be people who don’t like that and will try to win their freedom.
もし現実も同じように自由に設定できなかったら、どんな品質で生産しても同じレートで交換することになってしまい、悪い品質のままの生産物が大量に世の中に出回ってしまった結果、お金が回らなくなり経済が悪化すると言われています。個人的な考えとしてはそれを良しとしない人間が必ず現れて自由を勝ち取ろうとするのではないかと思います。
